Privacy Policy

Meet Sprite gives you AI assistants ("Sprites") that work for you: in chat, in the apps you connect, on their own cloud computer and, if you allow it, on your Mac. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it and what you can do about it. Questions: info@meetsprite.com.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email address and profile picture, from the email sign-up or from Google, Microsoft or Apple when you sign in with them. We never receive your password for those accounts.
- What you give your Sprites: your messages, files, voice messages, instructions, the memory your Sprites keep about your work, and email you forward to a Sprite's address.
- Connected apps: when you connect an app (for example Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Outlook), we receive access tokens for it and the data a Sprite reads or writes there while doing what you asked.
- Saved logins: website logins you store in your vault are encrypted. Sprites can have them typed into a website but never see the password.
- Cloud computer: what happens in your Sprite's own browser and desktop in the cloud, including the pages it visits and the files it downloads there.
- Your Mac: only when you install the Mac app and grant it permission; a Sprite then reads and operates the apps you allow, on your Mac.
- Technical data: device type, app version, push notification tokens and diagnostic records (which requests and actions ran, how long they took and whether they failed). Diagnostic records never contain your messages or passwords, and email addresses in them are masked.
How we use it
- To provide the service you ask for: running your Sprites, carrying out tasks in the apps you connected, sending you replies and notifications.
- To keep it secure and working: preventing abuse, finding and fixing errors (diagnostic records are kept for 30 days).
- To communicate with you about your account.
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use your content or data from connected apps to train AI models.
Google user data
Meet Sprite's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When you connect a Google account, a Sprite accesses your Gmail, Calendar, Drive or other Google data only to do what you ask of it (for example: read the mail you point to, draft a reply, plan an appointment, find a document). That data is not used for advertising, not sold, not used to train AI models, and not read by people at Meet Sprite unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security or the law requires it. You can disconnect at any time in Settings → Connected apps, or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Who processes it for us
We use service providers who process data only on our instructions:
- AI model providers (OpenAI) to generate your Sprites' answers; under their API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train their models.
- Hosting and cloud computers (application servers, database and the Sprites' cloud computers).
- Composio, to connect and call the apps you link.
- Email (Resend for account emails, Mailgun for email sent to and by Sprites).
- Sentry, for error reports and diagnostics (without message content).
- Apple and Google push services, to deliver notifications.
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data and content for as long as your account exists. Diagnostic records are deleted after 30 days. When you delete your account, or ask us to, we delete your data within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw any consent you gave. Write to info@meetsprite.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Belgium that is the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Security
Data is encrypted in transit; tokens for connected apps and saved logins are encrypted at rest. Each person's cloud computer is separate from everyone else's. No system is perfectly secure; if something happens that affects your data, we will tell you.
Children
Meet Sprite is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will update this page when what we do changes, and tell you in the app or by email before an important change takes effect.
